Crocker Fun Run

Our school fundraiser evolved from selling junk no one wants to buy to just asking for donations and having a fun run for the kids. They live it, we love not selling stuff and the school raised $30,000. Perfect!

Grayson swimming

Grayson started a new swimming program last month. We’re working with a very caring and veteran teacher who started new swimming program at fitness world. It’s really pushed him and he is really quite good at it! I love watching him improve each week. He’s so Hardin himself and gets so nervous but it’s really pushing him to be more confident! And he loves showing off his muscles 😀

Celebratory nails

Although she only had her cast on for 6 weeks those were trying times. Kenna is so much happier busy and active and just this last week getting back into soccer and French horn have been wonderful. Since we missed back to school nails I made it up to her with cast removal nails with friends. She’s so spoiled!

Fight and Card

Hormones are crazy things...Kenna has been mostly in control but the other night we had emotional explosion. Started with her expressing jealousy over her friend getting new cell phone. Spiraled into her worried about paying for a car and college and us being too strict and terrible parents it was epic. We chalked it up to hormones and all just moved on after long discussion but kenna made amazing card afterward. I think drawing calms her and I just love her creative mind!

Fall out boy

We took Zach to his first concert this weekend. Fall Out Boy, they were phenomenal!the lead singer was master guitarist and pianist. We had to sort of ignore the first two bands as they were wildly inappropriate! Zach was perfect height while standing on chair. He lived the pyrotechnics and effects. At one point the catwalk stage that was placed right next to us started floating with the band on it, so cool! We loved the videos in the background about kraken, explosions and Big Hero 6.

April Visit

April came to visit for a week and we just goofed around with events in between. She brought her vinyl cutter and press so we made tons of projects!! We went to an art installation downtown called the Illuminarium, farmers market, capitol, estate and rummage sales, out to lunches, east village and just lots of talking and running kids around. Aside from her car breaking down in the way home it was perfect escape from reality 😀
