I just love that my kids all enjoy making music. They aren’t running to practice everyday but for the most part never complain and are all quite skilled. Grayson loooves playing piano and recently had his first recital. He did excellent! Played more difficult pieces than kids who had been playing twice as long.
Zach got a new guitar from gramma rue for his birthday. He’s memorized a few riffs. Loves beat it by Michael Jackson (although he prefers the words to “eat it” by weird al) imagine dragons and foo fighters.
Kenna was hand selected by her band instructor to learn bass over the summer. A friend of mine told me they only choose the most musical kids to do this, so quite an honor. She is very excited and we’ve pretty much got enough instruments to form our own family band and take it in the road now 😀
