Disney Vacation Part 2

Day 3 was Sea World. This will mark the second time we missed out on the big fun rollercoaster! Last time it was broken, this time their were lightning storms...grr! I enjoyed the shows but I think there wasn't enough stuff to do for the kids. They got a little snippy towards the end.

I loved taking their pictures near the big aquariums - just beautiful! Zachary LOVED this. I think he could have watched all day!

We all got a kick out of the dolphin show. Zachary was all giggles for sure!

The newest ride was antarctica. You move through an exhibit and into a ride where you are on a floating penguin boat, learning about penguins. It ends up in a near freezing penguin habitat where you can walk right up to them. It was really cute, but man going from 90 degrees to 30 was no fun...we were shivering!

Kenna loved the water roller coaster. We did that a few times - and the ones in front got soaked! It is sort of splash mountain like and she was bummed when it was closed because of lightening too.

We watched the comical performance by the walrus and penguins. Was cute. The kids laughed quite a bit! Then we hustled to the exit as we heard a storm was rolling in. We stopped for a few minutes to feed and pet the stingwrays. Kenna was really into it, but Zachey was very much not :)

We heard the thunder and started running to the car. We got there and celebrated beating the storm, only to realize my mom had the keys to our car!!! Oh crap! Josh was nice enough to run back to the park and get the keys from my mom. He then ran back to the car and we did survive the downpour :)
We spent the rest of the evening relaxing, the kids swam and played. I think they enjoyed having their own TVs in their room almost as much as going to Disney!

There were a few nights that the kids "slept over" in eachothers rooms. We enjoyed playing settlers at night. Sometimes my mom had to work, and Chelsey had to study, but there were usually enough of us to make for a good game :)
